What is network layer

 definition of Network layer:-

A network layer responsible to create a path between sender to receiver. Through different component which ensures to success transfer different data and information.

             The common use of network layer stablish communication oriented service through internet protocol.It is consist of two main function that is.

A). Logical address of sender to receiver and path between two different network. The network layer service has been design with the following reasons.

a). The service should be independent of subnet technology.

b). The transport layer should be dependent on number type and technology.

c). The network layer provide the service to the transport layer.

B). Routing algorithm:- The main function of network layer routing packet from sources to destination machine through different path which create by network layer through protocol.

Component of network layer:-

A). Reapters:- Reapters is a physical device which re- genral weak signals from transfer sender to receiver.It is physical layer device which use amplifier to re- generate weak signals to strong signal.

B). Bridges:- Bridges are data communication device which operate I'm OSI reference model for the purpose of connect.

C). Gateway:- Gateway is the connection oriented service which works on application layout protocols that we create a connection between source to destination throw different network protocols and different physical device.

D). Router:- Router is a network player method which provide a path for transfer different data from sender to receiver and reduce the network traffic. It includes different component that is CPU, primary memory, operating system, network connection and OSI model.

E). Flooding:- It is static routing algorithm which transfer different information from sender to receiver and generate the duplicate number of lines from packet and information.

F). Modem :- modem is a physical device which modulate analog signals to encode Digital information and the module signals to record the transmitted information. The basic of modem to create a signal which easily transmitted to original digital data.
