 Networking definition

Networking is a process in two or more computer connect to each other through a wire and physical component for the purpose of data sharing and resource sharing. It create communication link between different client to a server with the help of different models and topology.

Features of Networking

1. Continue processes.

2. Flexible and portable.

3. Two way communication process.

4. Data sharing and resource sharing.

5. Help to data transfer.

Types of Networking

1. LAN:- It define system oriented process.which connect to many computer to a server in school, college, cyber cafe, house etc. It use different topology for connecting a networking system for the purpose of data sharing and resource sharing.

2. WAN:- Telephone and internet, mobile are the example of WAN.

3. MAN:- It include metro train, telephone exchange,cable operators.

4. Wireless network:- walky talky, wi-fi.

Advantage of Networking

1. It provides client friendly environment in any organisation.

2. It achieve organisation goal.

3. It is systematic approach which help to different client.

Hardware and software of Networking

Wire, hub, switch, routers, input output devices, protocols,operating system and network card.
