 Reduce instruction set computer:-

1). It define few instruction code.                                                                                            
2). It use minimum address modes.                                                                                                
3). It provide minimum memory access and store information.                                                           
4). It use single cycle execution at the process time.                                                                         
5). It define constant variable fix length of instruction format.

Complex instruction set computer:-

1). It provide large number of instruction (100 to 250).                                                          
2). It use large variety of addressing mode (5 to 20).                                                             
3). It provide maximum memory access and store information.                                             
4). It use multiple cycle execution at the process time.                                                            
5). It define dynamic variable length of instruction format.
