Difference between RISC (Reduce instruction set computer) & CISC (Complex instruction set computer)] BCA 3rd sem

 Reduce instruction set computer Difference:-

  • It is a spacial set repeatedly found and other types.
  • RISC is a highly regular instruction and large number of register.
  • RISC is a most important part in the set.
  • RISC is a feature is the load and store instruction.
  • It define few instruction code.
  • It use minimum addressing modes.
  • It define constant variable , fix length.
  • It use single cycle execution at the process time.
  • It provide minimum memory access and store information.

Complex instruction set computer :-

  • It is a  refers to computer designed  with a full set of computer.
  • The reducing full set of only most frequently used instruction.
  • Complex instruction set computer is a machine language.
  • It is a low level commands.
  • It define dynamic variable length of instruction format.
  • It use multiple cycle execution at the process time.
  • It provide maximum memory access and store information.
  • It use large variety of addressing mode(5 to 20).
  • It provide large number of instruction (100 to 250).
