Definition of Register
Register is a group of flip flops which store one bit information at the processing time with the help of integrated circuit. It is temporary memory which store temporary data all first time when the user operate computer system.
A register is a small amount of storage value on the C.P.U which consist different type of Register and processing depend on user define information.
Types of Register
1). Stack pointer :-
It is a set of memory which define memory location use by a micro- processer for store data in a program.
2). program counter:-
It is a general purpose register which store data and information with proper sequence and order.
3).States Register:-
It hold one bit information during arithmetical and logical operation. It include carry or sign , number.
4). Index Register:-
Index Register store the address of a value to the effective register address.
5).Aqumulater:-
It store & bit of data with the help of arithmetical and logical operation. It operation with help of 6 general purpose register is the memory area.
